Rhododendron Necklace
Catching the Light — Alpenglow
The Himalayan rhododendron blooms in the last warmth of the year, its deep crimson flowers burning against grey rock and snow. Alpenglow is that brief moment at dusk when the peaks flush rose and the light turns everything the colour of wine. This is the hour of the Rhododendron.
Deep burgundy garnet seed beads run the full length of the strand, punctuated by larger pink tourmaline ovals that shift from mauve to rose depending on where the light falls. Hyderabad natural pearls move through the sequence like snow catching the last of the colour. A strand that deepens as it descends, from wine at the top to the palest pearl at the drop.
Hand-assembled with semi-precious stones sourced from Jaipur: garnet and pink tourmaline and Hyderabad natural pearl. 925 Silver S clasp, and a pearl drop (our signature).
Length: 18 inches · Two pieces only. Natural variation in garnet depth, tourmaline colour, and pearl lustre means each piece is unique.
