Catching the Light  — Mid-Morning Light
 
The Deodar cedar forest is its own kind of light. Mid-morning in the Himalayas, when the sun has cleared the ridgeline but the air is still cool, filters green and silver through the branches, mossy, dappled, alive. 
 
This necklace was inspired by the lush foliage, the cool, the calm, and the meditative silence of a Deodar forest. Pale peridot seed beads run the full length of the strand, carrying the exact colour of new cedar growth, that yellow-green that is almost lime, almost grey. Larger rounds in deep forest green move through them alongside Hyderabad natural pearls, and a single large labradorite oval drops at the centre like a stone turned up from the forest floor, clouded and luminous at once.
 
Hand-assembled from semi-precious stones sourced from Jaipur:  rose quartz, peridot, Hyderabad natural pearl, and emerald, finished with a 925 silver clasp and pearl drop at the extension (our signature).
