The Lacquer print is set on a deep charcoal silk ground woven with a repeating Art Deco fan motif, a pattern of layered arches drawn from 1920s architectural ornament. Across it, big cats move through a jungle of banana palms, flame-red florals, peacocks, and parakeets, illustrated in the flat, detailed hand of Indian miniature painting.
