A deep, saturated crimson base sets a dramatic stage for oversized lotus blooms in burnt orange, ivory, and warm gold, their broad leaves rendered in rich teal and charcoal. Fine gold stem work runs through the print like veins of light, lending the composition an almost lacquer-like, Oriental quality.
