Chrysanthemum Kaftan
A long kaftan in warm cream silk, printed with an allover chrysanthemum motif in the lightest shade of terracotta , marigold, dusty gold, and sage. The blooms are rendered in a loose, botanical hand, layered and radiating, each flower built from fine linear detail.
The cut draws on two garment traditions: wide, billowing sleeves gathered dramatically at the shoulder in the manner of a kimono, and a deep V-neckline that elongates and opens the silhouette. A contrasting wavy diamond-check panel lines the collar and sleeves in the same colourway, visible as the fabric moves — a quiet detail that rewards close looking. Relaxed, unstructured, and free size.
Fabric: Pure Habutai Silk, digitally printed at our atelier. Free size.
Washing: Hand wash only in cold water (max 30°C) with a gentle detergent. Do not machine wash.
Drying: Do not wring. Keep away from direct sunlight.
Ironing: Iron on silk setting while slightly damp. Always iron on the reverse side. No steam directly on the print.
Dry Cleaning: Safe to dry clean. Let your cleaner know it is digitally printed silk.
